There are many people in high positions out there that have no grain of respect for human life or human dignity. For them humans are there to be exploited, tortured into submission and eliminated if all else fails. Money and power are all that matters to them and the only morality and principles they are prepared to entertain, are those that support their greed.
We do not need to sit up with this any longer. We can retaliate and strip them of the recognition they enjoy of being human. We can blacklist them and declare them persona non grata – people not worthy to be classified as ‘human’.
For this purpose it is suggested that we establish a global blacklist for politicians and multi-national corporations – a list of the names of people whom we no longer acknowledge to be part of humanity; people that we ‘excommunicated’ from the human race. We have the right of free association. As do any other association of people have the right to dispel any of its members that disgrace their institution, likewise we can do the same.
Consider the following list of crimes for which the perpetrators might be blacklisted, the procedure we can follow and the implications of blacklisting. This is just a point of departure. Please provide your comments and suggestions:
CRIMES
Committing crimes against the peace, war crimes or crimes against humanity (Blacklisting in this instance will not preclude the prosecution of these people for the crimes they have committed);
Gross human rights abuses;
Entertaining policies that results in death, famine or inhumane conditions for the subject to those policies;
Corruption;
Gross misuse of national or global resources and
Gross failure to protect the environment.
LODGING COMPLAINTS
Any visitors to this site will be entitled to file complaints by comments or e-mail. These complaints can be filed against any local or foreign politicians and should naturally provide particulars of the alleged crimes they have committed. In regard to multi-national corporations the alleged crimes and the location where it is taking place, should be set out in some detail. Only if substantial support for or against the complaint is received, will the defendant/s be informed of his/her right to state his/her case after which the matter will be subjected to a vote.
PROCEDURE
We will be transparent, fair and reasonable and observe the audi alteram partem (providing the opportunity to the other side to state its case) rule. After hearing all submissions everyone will have the opportunity to vote. Should 75% or more of all voters be in favour of blacklisting the names will be added to the blacklist and the status of those persons will change to that of a persona non grata with all the implications and ramifications attached to it.
IMPLICATIONS OF BLACKLISTING
The accused as well as all their direct, known relatives, will be declared persona non grata and blacklisted. The blacklist will be published on and be made freely available from this site. As such they will forfeit the right of being recognized as a co-human and relegated to non-human status;
The blacklisted status will be published and be made known around the world. In history the accused will be remembered as a criminals and an abusers;
Wherever they appear in public they will be scorned and people will spit on the ground;
We will abstain from having contact with or doing business with these people under threat of being blacklisted ourselves. The same will apply to any company or corporation on whose board they might be allowed;
Blacklisted persons property, including their bank accounts, will be treated as obtained through organized crime;
Should blacklisted persons’ constituencies fail to comply with the blacklisting, it will be treated as instances of complicity after the fact and will result in popular isolation and boycott of trade, cultural, sports or other contact.
In regard to crimes in terms of International Law, blacklisting is only suggested as a preliminary stage that may assist in escalating support for prosecution. The normal functions of the Global Community Tribunal will not be influenced by it.
