The chips are down. South Africans are with their backs against the wall. Amongst numerous other stories of murder, rape and robbery (many more not even reported) the following item appears in the Beeld of today:
“Mookgopong (Naboomspruit).
This is no ordinary robbery. No civilized human being will do this to a dog, let alone a human being. The barbarity of the acts is so cruel that one fails to find historical references to which it can be compared. The nearest that one gets, is the Mau Mau incidences in
Against this background the world need to be on high alert. This and all other similar acts which occur on a daily basis are signs of a very sick society on the verge of genocide. With a government whose latent support through omission to stop the massacre has become obvious defenseless citizens are defenseless against the onslaught. What the ANC cadres could not achieve while fighting against real men are now achieved by bands of vicious, lawless criminals, filled with extreme hate.
A point has now been reached where squealing and crying is no longer going to do it. The only people who can stop this massacre are the government, the police and the legal administration. We need to force them to take whatever steps may be necessary, and that includes declaring a state of emergency.
The counter offensive has now started. We will fight back. We have already requested McDonalds to take the lead and to take a public stance. Nothing has yet happened. If they do not care, why should we support them? It doesn’t work like that. You don’t sell hamburgers in
The government must realize that we are going down together. The first step will be to get big business out of its comfort zone to support the consumers. They are either with us or against us. We want visible and effective pressure from their side on this accomplice-in-crime-government.

I fully support this notion. Let’s just hope the rest of the public has not become too accustomed to this kind of crime to care.

Too 1of7: They tell the story of the Russian aristocrat driving along a road on the Russian Steppe with his carriage drawn by a number of horses. A pack of wolves started chasing after the carriage with the intention of catching the horses and the travelers in the carriage. When the aristocrat saw that he was losing the race, he cut loose a horse with the idea that it would keep the wolves busy while he escapes. It however did not take long before the wolves caught up with him again. He cut loose another horse with the same result. At the end he had one horse left and he knew, when he let go of it, that if this did not satisfy the wolves, everything was lost. This consumer boycott represents the last horse in South Africa’s battle against crime. JCG.
